Shinobu Blended Whisky Mizunara Oak is a Japanese whisky crafted in Niigata, Japan, known for its 'Three White' treasures: snow, rice, and sake. This blend is composed of 50% malted barley and 50% wheat, initially aged in ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks, and finished in rare Japanese Mizunara oak barrels. The whisky offers a nose of softly roasted nuts, jellied pear, and honeysuckle, with palate notes of black pepper, clove, ripe citrus fruit, and baked apples, culminating in a long, smooth finish.
